A bullied teenage girl forms an unlikely friendship with a mysterious young man who protects her from her assailants, while she copes with the pressures of her final examinations.
Ordinary young man Liu Shisan (Peng Yuchang), who has lost himself in the city, is brought back to his hometown, a small town by the clouds, by his grandmother. Accompanied by his childhood friend Cheng Shuang (Zhou Ye) and his grandmother, Liu XIII spends a peaceful time. He follows the traces left by his ancestors, listens carefully to the breath of the town, and gradually comes out of his past confusion at the kiosk where he can reach out and touch the clouds, between the mountains and the sea, and under the osmanthus tree in the courtyard.
