Upon inheriting his grandfather's coin laundromat, a middle-aged man, Akira Minato, gives up his former corporate life to run the well-loved coin laundry shop peacefully. One fine day, a high-school student by the name of Shintarō Katsuki enters the laundromat, and, despite the age difference between them, both Shintaro and Akira quickly become good friends.
